ME 366J-Spring 2024: Mechanical Engineering Design Methodology
Personalized Dog Wheelchairs 🐶
Last semester, my ME 366J students designed and fabricated customized dog wheelchairs, combining fundamental engineering principles with empathy and creativity to enhance mobility for our furry friends. In collaboration with Austin Pets Alive (APA), we created 10 personalized wheelchairs tailored to the unique needs of each dog. This project provided an opportunity for students to apply their classroom learning to make a tangible contribution to their local community.

BattleBot Project
For ME366J-Fall2023, my students engaged in an exciting project where they designed and built mini BattleBots, adhering to the SPARC Rules. This hands-on endeavor was made possible through collaboration with members of the UT Austin Combat Robot League and Texas Inventionworks (TIW). The project allowed students to apply design methodologies to a practical setting.
